The Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography and Media Art plays a diverse role, functioning as a medium to provide information and record various aspects of life. It serves as a platform for individuals to express their thoughts and feelings through photographic art and media art, reflecting cultural and contemporary art that connects to everyday life. It is a communication tool to share knowledge beneficial to societal and cultural development. Additionally, it acts as a record of people's lives across different periods.
The program aims to develop professional photographers and photographic artists who understand their roles and can present ideas and works of photography holistically, including information sharing, data recording, and personal creative expression. Students will utilize digital technologies and various media to communicate knowledge that contributes to the development of society, culture, and the environment, all while adhering to professional ethics. The teaching process fosters the creation of unique and professional-level photographic works while also encouraging experimentation in creating integrated and contemporary photographic art. Students will also gain the knowledge and skills required to present their works to the market and manage the photography business. The goal is to instill confidence in students, allowing them to apply their knowledge in their professional careers and as art entrepreneurs.
