Polluted

Polluted collection is inspired by India, a country which got affected by a fast fashion industry. The processes of producing clothes use loads of water and chemical substances thoughtlessly and irresponsibly to an extent, that India may run out of clean water with in the next 5 years. The silhouettes of the collection comes from how Indian starts to modernized their costume. They slowly match tailored jacket and trousers with their traditional dress after being colonize by the British. As a result, in this collection tailored jacket symbolizes British clothing while drapery shirts and trousers symbolizes how Indain drapes a fabric to create different piece of clothing. Eco-dying embroidering and biodegradable material is used as a surfacing technique so, the process producing would be harmless to the environment. Eco-dying uses less water and color from vegetables and flower whereas bioplastic is biodegradable. All of the  techniques is formed to create a pattern of polluted water.

Inspiration

The effect of fast fashion industry how they dye the fabric and release waste water back to sources of natural water causing water pollution.

Concept 
Polluted collection is inspired by how indian costumes were revolutionized by the british during the British Raj in 1850s through early 1947.

Mood
The silhouette comes from drapery of how Indians drape a fabric to create each piece of clothing and British tailoring. Colors of the collection is vivid and colorful as red, green yellow and blue. Bioplastic and Surfacing techniques will be arranged to imitate the pattern of wastewater.
