Patriarchy is norm of society which created inequality between different gender and gives values most in masculinity, this might sounds fair to men but however, aware or unaware patriarchy also injure those “men” which called “Toxic Masculinity”. “The prodigy” by Hermann Hesse is one of my most beloved books which can be a great example for this problem of toxic masculinity telling stories of a boy who has to live following patriarchy norm leading his life into a tragedy ended.
